Finally weddings are back on & it was absolutely great to be with Hayley & Rob as they celebrated their big day at the charming Windmill Village Hotel. This lovely hotel & golf course is set on the outskirts of Coventry & is a perfect setting for a West Midlands wedding 🙂
I met up with Hayley & the girls as they prepared for the day ahead in one of the hotel lovely suites & also took the opportunity to capture some shots of the delightful Chapel Suite, the setting for the wedding ceremony. This suite really is a perfect setting for the ceremony & looked lovely with Hayley & Rob’s handpicked decorations finishing the room off beautifully.
In the meantime Rob & his bestman, Peter had arrived & where greeting the guests who were enjoying the sunshine outside the lounge bar.
The main event of the day was soon upon us & we all headed to the Chapel Suite to await Hayley’s arrival before the lovely ceremony took place with the Registrars ensuring that everybody enjoyed the ceremony even allowing for the inevitable restrictions that were in place.
Heading outside nobody was going to let a spot of rain spoil the fun & we were able to take the family photos outdoors in the sun after the shower passed over.
With wedding breakfast time fast approaching there was time for a few photos of Hayley & Rob around the hotel grounds before we headed into the Windmill Suite for the wedding breakfast & highly entertaining speeches.
After the meal the hotel staff had arranged golf buggies for us to have a trip out onto the golf course to get some pictures of Hayley & Rob in the early evening light.
The final part of the day for me was to capture Hayley & Rob cutting their wedding cake before bidding them farewell.
Happily though that isn’t where the story ends as I’m really looking forward to joining Hayley & Rob for the next part of their wedding celebrations in the near future 🙂
