It was great to be back at the charming Barns Hotel in Cannock, Staffordshire to be Olivia & Toms wedding photographer. I am always offered a warm welcome at this lovely venue & this visit was no different.
Olivia was getting ready with her Bridesmaids in one of the delightful rooms as the staff prepared the dining room for the ceremony & Tom & his groomsmen greeted the guests in the bar. This was the first time I had shot the ceremony in the downstairs dining room & it made a lovely, airy setting for a socially distanced wedding 🙂 The hotel staff & registrars ensured that everybody kept safe & we all thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony.
Fortunately the weather held for us & we could enjoy the family photos in the fresh air before Olivia, Tom & myself headed to my favourite bit of local woodland for their portraits.
Back at The Barns we had a few minutes for photos around the farm buildings before heading back indoors for the wedding breakfast & speeches back in the delightful dining room.
As Olivia & Tom couldn’t have an evening reception or first dance I took the opportunity instead to set up a romantic, silhouetted shot to capture a tender moment of them as newly weds 🙂
