Voco Oxford Thames Hotel Wedding Photographer | Helen & Oliver
I was delighted to join Helen & Oliver for their Big Day at the stunning Voco Oxford Thames Hotel,
Rescheduled from last year this was my first time photographing a wedding at this venue & arriving on a beautiful spring morning the hotel certainly made the perfect wedding setting!
I headed to Helen’s room where the girls were preparing for the day ahead & it was lovely to meet up again with Helen & Kim, whose wedding I had photographed previously & who had kindly recommended me to Helen 🙂
The girls were all in great spirits & everybody was thoroughly looking forward to the day ahead, we had waited a long time for it!
Nipping out for a few minutes I popped into the charming ‘Little Barn’, where the ceremony would shortly be taking place & met up with Oliver, his best man, Jon, & the guests as they gathered in the hotel foyer.
Heading back to the Little Barn we awaited Helen’s arrival & enjoyed a very fun filled ceremony enlivened by Helen’s not too serious approach to the ceremony :-):-)
The warm, late spring weather beckoned us outside & we enjoyed the hotel’s amazing ground which lead down to the River Thames & gave a brilliant backdrop for the photos & drinks reception.
It was very soon time to head to the Conservatory for the entertaining speeches & wedding breakfast followed by the Cake Cutting before once more heading outdoors for an Al fresco First Dance 🙂
With the official wedding duties completed we could enjoy a lap of the hotel grounds to capture Helen & Oliver’s wedding portrait photos before finding a quiet spot indoors for a final romantic silhouette.
