It really was a lovely Autumn day as I travelled into the heart of Birmingham City Centre to join up with Mythili and Sudhir for their Wedding Day . I was providing their wedding photography at Birmingham Register Office.
As I arrived, close family and friends had gathered outside the Register office to greet Mythili and Sudhir, before we all made our way inside. We passed by the amazing “Wedding Party” sculpture by Neil Wood in the foyer as we took our seats in the ceremony room. Mythili and Sudhir, with their guests enjoyed a lovely ceremony and then we all headed out into the surroundings of the very pleasant Registry Office gardens. Ready and waiting to congratulate Mythili and Sudhir were the guests, with their confetti before the family photos were taken.
Birmingham Register Office is located adjacent to the canal towpath and afterwards this made an ideal setting for an informal drinks reception in the sunshine.
To capture Mythili and Sudhir’s portrait shots we ventured further along the towpath, outside The Mailbox and then inside The Cube, including a brief stopover at Marco Pierre White’s Restaurant 🙂

Thanks again Paul for your really great photos, Mythili and Sudhir have just returned from Mumbai after doing all the wedding again but this time…Indian style, so all the family over there could enjoy it too.
We we in Birmingham again today and looking at these photos brings back such wonderful memories of the day.
