As wedding photographer for Rachael and Stuart, I headed over to Hall Green in the West Midlands to attend their church wedding ceremony, which was then followed by their wedding reception at The Lake at Barston.
I met up with Stuart and the guests at St Ambrose Barlow Catholic Church before Rachael and her Dad arrived in a Celebration Cars beautiful vintage Rolls Royce. There was a brilliant ‘Beauty and the Beast’ theme to Rachael and Stuart’s wedding day, evident right from the start with the order of service and ring cushion 🙂 Rachael and Stuart, together with their gorgeous little boy, Thomas enjoyed a lovely intimate and personal wedding ceremony with their close friends and family.
After the ceremony everyone gathered for the confetti throwing in the churchyard. Rachael and Stuart then planted hydrangeas in the church’s flower bed, a really wonderful and permanent memento of their wedding day.
The weather was lovely as Rachael and Stuart travelled in style over to The Lake at Barston to join their guests for celebration drinks, outside on the restaurant terrace. The Lake at Barston has a delightful setting overlooking the 21 acre Barston Lake and 18th hole of the West Midlands Golf Club. In such a great location Rachael and Stuart had a few photos taken before everyone took their seats in the restaurant to enjoy the wedding breakfast and speeches.
With the beautiful evening light, Rachael, Stuart and Thomas ventured back outside to capture their portrait shots before commencing the evening celebrations. As I left everyone to enjoy their evening, the party certainly was in full swing !
