It was great to be heading to Redditch for a wedding at Gorcott Hall with Hannah and Kane. I was delighted that they had chosen me to be their wedding photographer as Gorcott Hall is a very special Worcestershire wedding venue. The 16th Century Grade II listed Tudor Hall and it’s beautiful 5 acres of grounds offer many photographic opportunities.
I had been recommended to Hannah and Kane by Sarah and Adam, a couple who’s wedding I had the pleasure to photograph at Gorcott Hall in 2014, so no pressure there then!!
Hannah and Kane were having all the days celebrations at the Hall and so I met up with Hannah and the girls for their prep in the beautiful, spacious Bridal Suite. The suite was full of laughter and high spirits as everyone was looking forward to the day ahead. It was then time for Dad to catch that emotional first glimpse of Hannah before the bridal party made their way to the Barn.
Inside the oak beamed Barn, Kane and the guests had gathered for the ceremony. The Hall’s 19th Century rustic barn created a perfect setting for everyone to enjoy the wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony guests gathered on the terrace for a drinks reception and family photos were taken in the gardens. Hannah and Kane had a chance for a few portrait shots before being greeted back into the Barn by their guests for the wedding breakfast. A great time was had by all enjoying superb food and very entertaining speeches.
Before the evening reception, Hannah and Kane explored the grounds for a few more photos whilst guests enjoyed the garden games. Hannah also joined in a game of croquet with the girls 🙂
Hannah and Kane had chosen Spin Spin Sugar to create their wonderful unique wedding cake and after the cake cutting they took to the dance floor for their first dance. A vey lively party was in full swing as I left everyone to continue the celebrations.
