Once again I was looking forward to heading over to Staffordshire to provide wedding photography at Pendrell Hall. It was a delight to return to this exclusive use Country house wedding venue for Joanne and Matthew’s big day.
As I arrived Joanne and the bridal party were enjoying lively preparations in the beautiful suite “Love is Enough”. Dad made an appearance by peeping his head round the door to catch his first glimpse of Joanne before they both made their way downstairs for the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Matthew and the guests had all taken their seats in the morning room awaiting Joanne’s arrival. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony, conducted by the Staffordshire Registrars and with special readings from guests.
After the ceremony the wedding party made their way outside for a drinks reception and family photos on the formal lawns. Joanne, Matthew and I then made our way into the gardens for their portrait shots. The walled gardens with their stunning rhododendrons made a wonderful backdrop.
Joanne and Matthew’s wedding breakfast was held in the spectacular ballroom where everyone enjoyed a roast carved at the table by guests and really entertaining speeches.
As evening was upon us there was a lot of fun and laughter out on the lawns as Joanne, Matthew and the bridesmaids showed off their juggling skills 🙂 Later, back inside the Ballroom after cake cutting the evening celebrations got under way with Joanne and Matthew taking to the dance floor for their first dance. A final twilight shot with Joanne and Matthew then it was time for me to leave them to enjoy their evening with their guests.
