This spring I was at another new venue, having the great pleasure of being Elizabeth and Andrew’s wedding photographer, at The Punchbowl in Lapworth.
Elizabeth and Andrew’s apartment in Olton was my first destination, arriving to a hive of activity! It was great that Elizabeth had the comfort of her own home to enjoy her bridal prep before a brief visit to her parent’s house to meet up with the wedding cars. The journey to church was literally just around the corner to St Margaret’s Church in Olton.
As Elizabeth and the rest of the bridal party made their entrance into the beautiful setting of the church, Andrew and the guests were eagerly awaiting their arrival. After a very personal and thoroughly enjoyable ceremony everyone gathered outside in the churchyard for confetti throwing and family photos.
It was then time to travel over to the charming Punchbowl in Lapworth for the rest of the day’s celebrations. Nestled in glorious Warwickshire countryside it made a great location for Elizabeth and Andrew to step out into the nearby lanes and fields to capture their portrait shots.
The red brick and wood beams ceilings of The Punchbowl’s highly regarded restaurant was all set up for Elizabeth and Andrew’s wedding breakfast. After a wonderful dining experience everyone then enjoyed the speeches followed by a slightly alcoholic version of ping pong 🙂
After Elizabeth and Andrew’s first dance we popped outside to catch the evening light for a few portrait shots before they returned to their guests.
