A wedding at Highbury Hall was the delightful venue for Rachel and Rhodri’s spring wedding. It is hard to believe that this grade II listed manor house is situated only 3 miles from Birmingham City Centre. Located in its own extensive grounds it has the look and feel of a period country house and is a wonderful venue for a Birmingham wedding.
The day started with meeting the girls at Rachel’s mums house to capture the early stages of prep before we headed to Highbury Hall for Rachel and the girls to finish their prep as Rhodri and the guests gathered downstairs ahead of the ceremony.
With everybody ready we headed downstairs to the Drawing room for a thoroughly enjoyable ceremony conducted by the Birmingham registrars.
As had been the case for my last few weddings the weather gods were kind to us and we were able to enjoy the gardens for family photos and Rachel and Rhodri’s portraits.
Soon though it was time to head in for the speeches and wedding breakfast held in the stunning main hall.
With darkness having fallen we returned to the drawing room for Rachel and Rhodri to start the evening celebrations with their First dance before their band took over to keep everybody thoroughly entertained.
