I was off to a new venue for me to be the Wood Norton wedding photographer for Vicky and Jame’s big day. This stunning hotel set in the beautiful Vale of Evesham was their chosen wedding venue in Worcestershire & it was certainly a great choice 🙂
The Victorian House & it’s gardens are a fabulous setting for a wedding & with a rich & varied history it has a few tricks up its sleeve for unusual wedding photos!
I met up with Vicky & the girls at Vicky’s parents house for their prep which was proceeding very nice & peacefully, no dramas here, even the dogs were chilled!
A quick dash into the Vale of Evesham & I was soon at The Wood Norton to meet up with James & the guys & to suffer a severe case of car envy. The Dodge Charger was stunning!!
Just as stunning was Vicky’s arrival in a horse drawn carriage. As a big time horse lover Vicky wasn’t arriving any other way.
Heading into the Main Hall for the ceremony laughter & fun was the order of the day, admittedly a lot of it at James’s expense, he was certainly keen to get married:-)
After the ceremony the grounds beckoned for the drinks reception while Vicky & James took a quick trip in the horse & carriage. Family photos followed and we grabbed a few portraits of Vicky & James before heading up to the Orangery for the wedding breakfast & speeches.
Considering James was somewhat apprehensive about his speech he pulled off an absolute belter which had us all in hysterics.
With a lovely evening outside we headed off to a couple of The Wood Norton’s slightly different photo locations before heading back to the lawns to get Vicky the twilight shot she had her heart set on.
Back to the Orangery for Vicky & James’s first dance & then it was time to leave them to their evening’s partying.
