I set off into the beautiful Staffordshire countryside to be Rebecca and Jame’s Himley Hall wedding photographer. It was my first visit to the Hall and I was very much looking forward to sharing the day with Rebecca and Jame’s at such a wonderful wedding venue. With its stunning state rooms and lovely grounds it was immediately obvious that Rebecca and James had chosen well 🙂
The day started with me getting a few shots of Rebecca’s prep at their home before heading off to meet up with James and the guests at the Hall.
Fortunately the forecast of torrential rain was holding off and we grabbed a few shots before retreating inside ahead of Rebecca’s arrival. The Staffordshire registrars, as ever, conducted a thoroughly enjoyable ceremony and with the rain still holding off we were able to get all the photos taken outside with the hall and it’s grounds providing a great backdrop to the photos.
Wedding breakfast time was soon upon us and we headed in for the meal and speeches.
A glance outside after the speeches showed the forecasted rain fast approaching but the terrific sky was too hard to resist for one last photo opportunity before Rebecca and James’ first dance.
