On Saturday 17th May I was Sarah & Adrian’s wedding photographer at the amazing Gorcott Hall, just outside Redditch in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. The weather was beautiful with wall to wall sunshine & the morning started in Northfield, Birmingham with bridal prep at Sarah’s parents house. Everybody was thoroughly enjoying the morning with Led Zeppelin providing background music! 🙂
A quick dash up the road to the delightful St Laurence in Northfield found me meeting up with Adrian & the guy’s. Everybody was gathered outside the church enjoying the sun until the appearance of a stunning Rolls Royce heralded Sarah’s arrival. Heading into church we had the only low of the day as the vicar, although he conducted a lovely, personal ceremony did not allow any photography through the ceremony. To make up for that though after the ceremony we headed to the altar to get some shots of Sarah & Adrian in front of the lovely stained glass window. Heading back out into the sun it was time for a quick drive through the Warwickshire countryside to Gorcott Hall. This absolute gem of a wedding venue is tucked away just outside Redditch & with its beautiful gardens provides a stunning backdrop for wedding photography. With the sun beating down we concentrated on the family group shots before the wedding breakfast & saved Sarah & Adrian’s portraits for later in the day in the lovely evening sunlight.
With the wedding breakfast, speeches & portrait photos concluded it was time for Sarah & Adrian’s first dance before the band got the evening partying underway & after one last photo opportunity it was time for me to leave the partygoers to their night’s celebrations.
