On this beautiful spring morning I found myself heading into Warwickshire to be Kim and Darren’s Ettington Chase Wedding Photographer. It was the first time for me at this lovely venue. Ettington Chase is a charming Victorian country house located in stunning countryside just outside Stratford Upon Avon.
I met up with Kim and the girls in the Eliot Suite having a lovely relaxing time with their preparations. As ceremony time was fast approaching proud Dad had chance to peep round the corner of the suite to catch his first glimpse of Kim before all the bridal party had time for a celebration toast 🙂
Meanwhile Darren, his best man and guests had been enjoying the spring sunshine out in the gardens before they had headed into the library. The library made a lovely setting for the wedding ceremony. The library was light and airy with a wonderful feature window looking over the grounds of the Chase. Isabella, the pretty flower girl sprinkled rose petals as Kim and her Dad made their entrance into the library. Kim and Darren thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony with their guests, full of joy and laugher and special readings.
After the ceremony Kim and Darren celebrated with drinks and canapes in the grounds. There was a chance for confetti throwing, family photos and bubbles 🙂 Leaving the guests for a little while Kim and Darren then had chance to explore the gardens further for their portrait photos.
It was then time to head back inside. There was a huge cheer and applause to greet Kim and Darren into the Wordsworth Suite for their wedding breakfast which was followed by highly entertaining speeches 🙂
Making the most of the evening light, I then had the chance to take Kim and Darren for a few more photos before they headed back into the Wordsworth Suite. After cake cutting and first dance I left the happy couple to enjoy their evening celebrations.
