Monday 14th April 2014 found me heading over to Dudley to be Lyndsey & David’s wedding photographer. The day started with meeting Lyndsey & the girls at the Village Hotel. Everyone was in great spirits & thoroughly looking forward to the day ahead. It was soon time to nip round the corner to the lovely Priory Hall to meet up with David & the guests. The distinctive sound of a VW engine announced Lyndsey’s arrival in a gorgeous camper van & we headed indoors for the wedding ceremony. Heading outside lovely spring sunshine greeted us & after the formal groups we headed into the lovely Priory Parks for a stroll in the sun & to get a few photos.
Then it was time to head off to the amazing Crooked House in Himley, Staffordshire. There isn’t a vertical wall in the building & just walking through it is enough to make you dizzy & that’s before you have a drink!!
The sun was keeping everybody warm enough to sit outside & it was a novelty to have outdoor speeches before tucking into the lovely hog roast. As the sun finally set it was time for Lyndsey & Davids first dance & a final silhouette shot before I headed off for home.
