A short journey into South Staffordshire was how I started my day to be Becky & Antony’s wedding photographer with Becky & the girls getting ready in Tamworth. It was certainly a houseful even though we only had half the bridesmaids at this point in time! Everybody was enjoying the morning apart from the weather forecast which wasn’t exactly encouraging & boy did we get some weather later in the day!!
Leaving the girls to their final stages of prep a quick drive took me to the charming St Leonards in Wigginton to meet up with Antony & all the guests at which point the heavens opened!! Huge credit to Antony & his bestman Ryan who stuck it out under umbrellas greeting the guests as they scurried up the path.
Happily the deluge stopped before Becky’s arrival & the girls got into the church in the dry for a lovely ceremony enlivened by Becky dropping Antony’s ring 🙂
With the rain threatening gain as we left the church there was time for a couple of photos before a quick dash to Packington Moor where our photos were then interrupted by a monumental thunderstorm!
With everybody safely inside speeches & the wedding breakfast were thoroughly enjoyed by all before, happily, the weather changed to a lovely sunny evening & we could enjoy a lap of the grounds to get some photos.
Soon though it was time for Becky & Antony’s first dance & a couple of final shots before I left everybody to party the night away.
