I was really looking forward to providing Wedding Photography at Rowton Castle for Eleanor and Pete’s Spring Wedding day. This stunning Grade II listed 17th Century castle with its acres of wonderful gardens, set in the glorious Shropshire countryside, certainly was the perfect location.
Unfortunately, the “Beast from the East” had other ideas and we swapped spring for mid winter, complete with a foot of snow! The Rowton Castle staff though were brilliant and with the snow cleared everything went ahead as planned and Eleanor and Pete were completely unfazed by slightly unseasonal weather 🙂
The Orchard Suite was a hive of activity with Eleanor and the girls all preparing for the day ahead as Pete greeted the arriving guests in the Castle’s charming day rooms.
With ceremony time upon us we all gathered in the stunning Cardeston Suite to await Eleanor’s arrival on the arm of her very proud father. A ceremony filled with fun and emotion was enjoyed by all before we headed outside for some snowy confetti fun 🙂
A tour of the Castle and grounds followed for Eleanor and Pete’s portraits along with some fun shots with the bridesmaids, Brave Girls !
We headed back indoors to the warmth and comfort of the Cardeston Suite for the wedding breakfast and speeches. Afterwards, mad fools that they are, Eleanor and Pete and the Bridal party headed back outside. In the snowy darkness everyone had fun playing with some sparklers before Eleanor and Pete took to the dance floor to open the evening celebrations with their first dance.
