Saturday 16th November 2013 found me in Leicestershire to be Elaine & Iain’s wedding photographer at the stunning Mythe Barn, just outside Atherstone. It was a rather chilly, overcast day but the bright & warm interior of Mythe Barn was very welcoming. Elaine & the girls were getting ready in the beautiful Hay Loft bridal suite whilst Iain & the guests were all gathering downstairs. Everybody was enjoying the day & the gloom outside certainly wasn’t reflected indoors. Soon it was ceremony time & we all headed into the Oak Barn to await the arrival of Elaine. The Leicestershire registrars as ever conducted a fun filled ceremony enjoyed by everybody. Drinks & canapes followed & we headed out for the photos. I have to give huge credit to Elaine & Iain because it was cold & getting distinctly dark but they never complained once as we took in a quick lap of the grounds. Heading back indoors it was soon time for speeches & the wedding breakfast in the delightful Grain Store dining room. After the meal some huge balloons appeared to keep the younger guests amused although it appeared that the older guests got just as much fun! The evening celebrations commenced & Elaine & Ian took to the dance floor for their first dance.
