My first wedding of 2018 found me heading through the Warwickshire lanes to be Jaime’s and Edd’s Limes Country Lodge Hotel wedding photographer. The Limes is a great Warwickshire wedding venue set in 6 acres of stunning countryside, independently family run , providing full exclusive use on your wedding day.
The weather forecast for the day had not been overly encouraging and in fact the drive over to the hotel was in pouring rain. Arriving at the Limes I found Jaime and the girls in great spirits and determined not to let a drop or two of rain spoil the day! I spent a little while with Jaime and the girls enjoying bridal prep before nipping down the road to meet up with Edd at their house. Best man, David, Edd’s brother was doing a grand job making sure Edd and the rest of the guys were prepared for the day ahead. A mention has to go to Topper, Jaime and Edd’s wonderful springer spaniel who was delighted that my arrival meant that there was somebody new to throw his toy for him to fetch 🙂
Back at the Limes ceremony time was fast approaching and we all headed to the Orchard Suite to enjoy Jaime and Edd’s wedding ceremony. Unbelievably the rain held off for us to head out to the lovely gardens for some confetti throwing, family photos and Jaime and Edd’s portraits including a few with Topper who was looking very smart with his bow tie!
After the cold outdoors it was great to get back into the warmth of the hotel for the wedding breakfast and excellent speeches. A quick dash outdoors again produced a lovely twilight shot for Jaime and Edd before they got the evening going with their First Dance followed by an amazing playlist which got everybody on to the dance floor 🙂
