It was another new venue for me as I had the real pleasure of being The Feathered Nest Country Inn Wedding Photographer for Emma & Patrick’s wedding at this charming Cotswolds Inn tucked away in the lovely Oxfordshire countryside.
Emma and the girls were busy preparing for the day ahead in the Cuckoos Den when I arrived and it was obvious that everything was under control and the girls were thoroughly enjoying their morning.
Downstairs, as ever, things were a little more hectic with Patrick and the guys sorting their buttonholes & the other final finishing touches before the ceremony.
Emma and her dad were soon making their way through to the ceremony and we all enjoyed a lovely ceremony conducted in a light hearted manner by the Oxfordshire registrars.
Heading out into the gardens after the ceremony for the drinks reception it does have to be admitted that it was drizzling a bit but that didn’t dampen anybody’s spirits & it soon passed. With the family photos and a few portraits of Emma & Dan in the bag we headed back in for the wedding breakfast & speeches.
With the weather having cheered up considerably garden games kept everybody entertained before the evenings entertainment commenced.
