I was even closer to home when I was Helen & Rob’s wedding photographer . They had chosen Four Oaks Methodist Church & Pype Hayes Golf Course & Spa for their wedding venues & both lovely venues are on my doorstep 🙂
I met up with Rob & the guests at the charming Four Oaks methodist church. This recently refurbished church set in the heart of Sutton Coldfield offers a very warm welcome to couples & makes a beautiful setting for a wedding.
Bang on time Helen & her father arrived in their beautiful classic car & we made our way through the churchyard & into church for a wonderful, fun filled ceremony.
Upon leaving church the sun was shining & we made the most of the opportunity to capture some confetti shots & family photos before a very large black cloud pit paid to our fun & so we headed to Pype Hayes Golf Course & Spa
Located adjacent to Pype Hayes park the golf course & adjoining woodland create a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos & you would never know you were in the heart of suburbia. The clubhouse provides a lovely setting for the wedding breakfast with lovely views over the golf course itself.
Helen & Rob on arrival greeted their guests in the clubhouse before we nipped outside for a few photos before they were officially welcomed into the wedding breakfast. Cake cutting & speeches followed before we headed out for we headed out for Helen & Rob’s portraits on the golf course itself.
Soon it was time for Helen & Rob’s first dance followed by fun games on the terrace & a final photo opportunity as darkness fell.
