It was great to be off to a new venue to be Kayleigh & Tom’s West Midlands Safari and Leisure Park wedding photographer. Within the park is Spring Grove House a stunning beautifully restored country house, an amazing place for a wedding!
After suffering a devastating fire the house has been very sympathetically restored into a wonderful exclusive usage wedding photo & with the backdrop of the safari park & the opportunity to get up close with some cuddly animals it really is a cracking midlands wedding venue.
For Kayleigh & Tom’s big day we started out at Kayleigh’s parents house for her prep along with the bridesmaids & it was smiles all round all morning!
A quick dash around Kidderminster’s bank holiday traffic got me to the Safari Park in plenty of time to meet up with Tom & the guys who, it has to be said, were distinctly more nervous than the girls 🙂
Kayleigh’s arrival heralded ceremony time & with the girls, Kayleigh & her dad all avoiding being eaten by the lion ( 😉 ) we enjoyed a cheerful, laughter filled ceremony. Heading out into warm sunshine we enjoyed a meet up with some cuddly residents of the safari park before making the most of Spring Grove House’s gardens for family photos & portraits.
A trip indoors for the wedding breakfast & highly entertaining speeches was followed by a trip out into the evening sunshine to get some photos around the rides of the safari park & i cannot deny that it appealed to my sense of humour to put Kayleigh & Tom in front of a hungry looking shark 🙂
With twilight approaching we grabbed a couple of minutes for some dramatic portraits before Kayleigh & Tom took to the dance floor for their first dance.
