Friday 30th October found me heading the short distance up the m6 on a return visit for a Slaters Country Inn wedding to be the wedding photographer for Charlotte & Chris. This was my first visit since the charming venue had opened it’s delightful Wedding house in the private rear garden & it certainly is a lovely setting for your wedding 🙂
I tracked down Charlotte in the on site hairdressers & got a few prep shots there before heading back to the Inn for the rest of the preparations. With the sun shining down on us we were soon heading out to the Wedding House for one of the stand out ceremonies of the year with a very on form & hilarious Staffordshire registrar who had everybody in stitches & even relaxed Chris!
The warm, autumn weather tempted everybody into the garden for the drinks reception & we took full advantage of the weather to get a few shots of Charlotte & Chris around the grounds before heading into the main building for the Wedding Breakfast & Speeches which ended with poor Charlotte ending up somewhat embarrassed, although I am far to much of a gentleman to explain why 🙂
A change in the weather produced a lovely dramatic, thundery sky which tempted us out for a photo before Charlotte & Chris hit the dance floor for their first dance.
