Clare & Phil’s Mid-Summer wedding took me to two new venues for wedding photography. It was the charming Our Lady of Perpetual Succour in Rednal, South Birmingham for the church service and then a stunning Kings Norton Golf Club Wedding reception which were both near (ish) Kings Norton and an absolute delight to work at:-)
The day started with Clare & the girl’s hair & makeup at Stage 23 in Selly Oak & Clare was certainly one chilled bride undoubtedly helped by a shoulder massage from mum!
With the champagne flowing & time moving on I headed back to Clare’s parents house to get a few detail shots before heading down the road to meet up with Phil & the guests at the church, Phil also looking nice & calm & enjoying the sunshine before Clare’s arrival in a lovely Rolls Royce had everybody heading in to the cool interior of the church.
A thoroughly enjoyable & light hearted ceremony followed before we headed out for a confetti moment before heading through the lanes to King Norton Golf Club for the rest of the days celebrations. The gardens in front of the splendid clubhouse provided a perfect setting for the family photos & portraits before we headed in for the wedding breakfast & speeches.
As this was mid summer ( I am rather late with my blog posts!!!!!) the evening light tempted us out for a few more shots before hitting the dance floor. Having captured Clare’s dads moves on the dance floor it was time to go 🙂
