Kate and Andy had chosen A wedding at Redhouse Barn in Stoke Prior, set in beautiful Worcestershire countryside as a stunning location for their special day. The barn dates back to 1779, it is privately owned and an exclusive use venue.
It was the first beautiful, warm spring day of 2017 and I was really looking forward to the day ahead, being Kate and Andy’s Wedding photography. I first met with Kate and her bridesmaids for bridal prep in the lovely Bridal Room, whilst Kate and Andy’s guests were gathering together in the bar ahead of the ceremony.
The brick barn was the setting for the ceremony where Andy and the guests awaited Kate’s arrival. The lovely service was conducted by the Worcestershire registrars with the barn providing views over the gorgeous gardens and timbered barn.
Afterwards guests mingled in the bar and snug whilst Kate, Andy and their close family had family portraits taken in the gardens. There was then time for Kate and Andy to explore some of the 5 acres of stunning gardens for their portrait shots with some taken by the beautiful Koi pond.
It was then back into the barn for Kate, Andy and their guests to enjoy the wedding breakfast and speeches. It is a Redhouse Barn tradition that the whole wedding party are greeted in by the guests.
There was just time whilst guests gathered in the courtyard and played garden games for Kate and Andy to have a further opportunity for some photos before daylight faded.
With the evening upon us Kate and Andy took to the dance floor for their first dance before all the guests joined them to party the night away:-)
