I’m absolutely delighted to start this look back at Kerry & Keith’s Halloween Big Day,with an amazing wedding at New Hall . Kerry & Keith posted this lovely 5 star review on my facebook page.
“Paul, we cannot thank you enough for the service you provided on our wedding day (31/10/15). You were everything we were looking for… friendly, professional and with outstanding photography skills! From the first meeting when my (now) husband turned up with his DSLR as if it was a contest! You took it all with great humour and even taught him a few lessons along the way!!! On the day you exceeded our expectations. You captured love, warmth, laughter and tears that made our day so amazing. I cannot stop looking at the photos and our friends and family are also amazed. Once again, words cannot thank you enough!”
This was always to going to be a great, fun packed day with Kerry & Keith’s wonderfully mischievous sense of humour rubbing off on everybody so that smiles & laughter were the order of the day from start to finish.
It was also great to be back at the amazing New Hall Hotel, a stunning Sutton Coldfield wedding venue literally a stone’s throw from my home.
I met up with Kerry & the girls in the stunning Princess Elizabeth suite which had a feature I had never seen before, a settee which devoured flower girls 🙂 Aside from that entertainment everybody was enjoying the morning & anticipating the day ahead.
As the girls had already glimpsed Keith & the guys arriving I nipped down to see them & got a few shots of Keith & his bestman enjoying the day as much as the girls. Back upstairs it was time for Dad’s first look & a very emotional dad didn’t let us down 🙂
Before we knew it ceremony time was upon us & we headed for the amazing Great Hall for an inevitably fun packed & definitely not serious ceremony. Late afternoon sunshine beckoned us into the gardens & after confetti & family photos Kerry, Keith & I headed into the grounds for their photos obviously taking in the Yew Trees, a very distinctive New Hall landmark.
With darkness falling it was time to grab a shot in the last light of the day before heading in for the wedding breakfast & hilarious speeches with a delightful twist that many of the guests suffered at the hands of the Bestman as much as Keith 🙂
Soon Kerry & Keith were on the dancefloor for their first dance & then the party really started. I don’t think it was going to be a quiet night…………………
