It was another nice spring day in April and this time I was heading off to be Charlotte and Ross’s wedding photographer for a wedding at Nailcote Hall. This familiar venue is a beautiful 4 Star, 17th Century country house, set in picturesque Warwickshire countryside in Berkswell.
fAs I arrived for bridal prep Charlotte and the bridal party were well on the way with their preparations, relaxing and enjoying themselves on the balcony. Meanwhile Ross had a quick pint to steady his nerves with his best man in the bar.
After Charlotte’s Dad’s emotional first glimpse he proudly escorted his daughter through the lovely grounds of the hall to Rick’s Garden Cafe where Ross and the guests had gathered for the ceremony. The roof skylights lit up the garden cafe as the Solihull Registrars conducted a wonderful ceremony. The ceremony would not have been complete without Charlotte and Ross’s adorable Son, Zac getting in on the action of signing the register 🙂
The guests grabbed the confetti to greet Charlotte and Ross outside in the beautiful grounds of the hall. These surroundings gave excellent photo opportunities for Charlotte and Ross’s portraits.
Charlotte and Ross then headed into the Marquee where their guests had gathered to welcome them in for the wedding breakfast. The marquee was a stunning setting in the gardens overlooking the Cromwell golf course. Everyone had a great time enjoying delicious food and entertaining speeches.
Leaving guests to chat and relax for a while there was chance for me to take more photos with the bridal party and also take Charlotte and Ross out onto the golf course for more portrait shots.
The evening was soon upon us so it was back inside into the marquee for cake cutting and everyone to surround the happy couple for their first dance. This was then followed by a very entertaining dance routine courtesy of family members. A great evening was being had by all.
