I was delighted to be heading back to one of my favourite Staffordshire wedding venues, The charming Somerford Hall, situated in beautiful countryside just north of Wolverhampton.
The day started though at Stephanies parents’ home on the outskirts of Wolverhampton & driving up the road it wasn’t too difficult to work out which house i was going to 🙂
it was certainly a houseful but everybody was busily getting ready for the day ahead & enjoying every moment of the morning with Stephanie’s dad preparing a great buffet to keep everybody’s strength up.
The morning flew by & it was time to head into the centre of Wolverhampton to the amazing St John’s church to meet up with Nana & the guys. A chilly wind was whipping around the church but the colourful scarves worn by Nana & his groomsmen were keeping them warm as we grabbed a few photos before the appearance of a lovely Beauford signalled Stephanie’s very punctual arrival.
Quickly heading inside the ceremony was wonderfully personal to Stephanie & Nana & thoroughly enjoyed by the full house of their guests. After the ceremony the wind had turned into a gale & so we quickly dashed off to Somerford Hall here unfortunately the heavens opened & kept us all inside. Not a great hardship though with the Bridal Suite & public rooms providing great backdrops for photos.
A break in the weather tempted us outside for a few shots in the evening light before once more heading into the warm for the evening’s celebrations.
