My style of photography is to be as unobtrusive as possible and to capture both the formal aspects of the day as well as the candid moments which combine to produce treasured memories of your big day.
Prior to your wedding day I will meet up with you as many times as required to ensure that I have covered your requirements 100%. Although I aim to keep the photography as informal as possible a 'running list' of the formal groups ensures that this part of the day runs smoothly and all the required images are taken. I will work with you to produce this list at our meetings.
If you are having a rehearsal I will endeavour to attend as I find that this can be a big aid to the smooth running of the day
When your big day arrives I obviously only ever book one wedding a day and so, excluding mid week packages, I will be available from early morning to capture the bridal preparations, through the day and on into the evening for the first dance. By covering the entire day we can produce a storybook album of the day start to finish and the first dance picture is a beautiful way of closing your album
After your wedding day I individually process a large selection of the images from the day so that you see them as they will appear in your album. I certainly do not believe in taking every image from the camera and giving it to you on a cd without any editing. Your wedding day has taken months to plan for, has been a huge success and the images you see should reflect that. I don't believe you will cherish photos of you blinking or the look on your face when that wasp got too close!
I also believe wedding pictures should be displayed at their very best and for me the only way to enjoy looking back on your wedding day is to look through pages of beautiful images in an album.
I therefore include a high quality album with all my packages. The pages will be designed with care to display the images at their very best, a service I love to provide rather than just handing over a disc of images or a few loose prints.
About 2 weeks after your wedding the selected images will be placed in a password protected online gallery for you, your family and friends to view. Images will be a selection of black and white and colour although you will have the final choice of how the images look. From this gallery you can select, in your own time, the images you wish to appear in your album. At this stage I am more than happy to meet up to discuss the images and how they will appear in the album.
I then produce the album proofs, again working with you to ensure that the album is exactly how you want it. When you are totally happy the album is then ordered and a couple of weeks later I will deliver it to you.
All the albums I use are crafted in the UK by specialist companies, who not only produce beautiful albums but also offer exceptional turn round times compared to many of the overseas producers.
