A lovely, late spring day beckoned as I headed out to be Rachel & Mitch’s wedding photographer for their charming Henley Golf & Country Club wedding.
The day started though in Romsley for Rachel’s prep with a house full of fun & laughter as everybody prepared for the day ahead & a house full it certainly was!
Amidst the activity Rachel was calmly enjoying the morning & thoroughly looking forward to the excitement of the day ahead.
With Rachel dressed & ready in plenty of time I headed off to the utterly delightful St Peter’s in Wootton Wawen to meet up with Mitch & the guests. Warm sun was a welcome blessing as we milled around the church yard until the distinctive note of a VW camper van heralded Rachel’s arrival & we headed in for a thoroughly enjoyable ceremony.
Following family photos in the church yard we threw some confetti at Rachel & Mitch 🙂 & then took the opportunity to get some photos in the charming surroundings of one of Warwickshire’s oldest buildings. With Mitch helping his damsel in distress to get the camper van out of the field we nipped up the road to Henley Golf & Country Club for the rest of the day’s celebrations 🙂
After a lovely wedding breakfast & great speeches the lovely evening light beckoned & so we grabbed some more photos around the golf course before heading in for Rachel & Mitch’s first dance
