On a beautiful day in late May I was out & about in the West Midlands to be the wedding photographer for Caroline & Darren’s Hampton Manor wedding. The day started bright & very early at Caroline & Darren’s home for prep & as ever everybody was thoroughly enjoying the morning, busy with their preparations & eagerly anticipating the day ahead. With family arriving throughout the morning we soon had a fair old houseful & the flower girls certainly livened up proceedings taking a keen interest in Caroline’s preparations 🙂
The time was racing on though & before long it was time to head into Birmingham City Centre to the Register Office to meet up with Darren & the guests & I particularly enjoyed watching a nervous groom watching Caroline’s arrival in a lovely white Jaguar before heading in for the ceremony. I obviously caught the Registrars on a very good day as they kindly allowed me to take some ceremony shots, most unusual at the Register Office!
Exiting the ceremony room we headed out to the bright, sun-filled courtyard to throw some confetti over Caroline & Darren before heading off to the wonderful Hampton Manor, the venue for the rest of the days celebrations. Following very tasty looking canapes on our arrival we quickly headed out to enjoy the lovely gardens & capture some family photos & portraits of Caroline & Darren before heading in for the wedding breakfast.
