Sunday May 24th 2015 found me close to home to be Simone & Gary’s wedding photographer for a lovely Forest of Arden Wedding set in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside between Solihull & Coventry. With everybody already at the hotel prep was in full swing when I arrived with a roomful of Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, Simone’s mum & calm amidst the mayhem, Simone enjoying a glass of 23 carat gold champagne 🙂
With the girls all making the most of the morning I could get shots that captured the spirit of prep & also took a few minutes out to see the woodland suite all set for the ceremony & the marquee set for the wedding breakfast.
The clock was ticking though & with ceremony time fast approaching it was time to seek out Gary & the lads looking, it has to be said, a touch more apprehensive than the girls 😉
Soon the Woodland Suite was full to bursting & it was time to get Simone & Gary married with a lovely ceremony conducted by the ever friendly Warwickshire registrars.
It was lovely to see Simone’s smile light up the room as the nerves faded through the ceremony!
Heading to the drinks reception a brief shower clipped our wings but it quickly passed & we headed out for photos around the golf course before the wedding breakfast & speeches.
A warm evening tempted us out for a few more photos before the party started big time with a lively first dance from Simone & Gary followed by pretty well everybody hitting the dance floor to party the night away.
The most amazing sunset provided one last photo opportunity & then it was time to leave Simone & Gary to party the night away!!
