It was not far from home for Laurie and Matt’s Fairlawns Hotel and Spa wedding. This is a family owned hotel, a unique venue and always a delight to work at as a wedding photographer.
I first caught up with Laurie for bridal prep in one of the hotels charming suites, she was relaxed and happy with the bridal party. Downstairs Matt enjoyed the company of the guests in the bar ahead of the ceremonywww.paulgoodephotography.co.uk
It was soon time for everyone to gather in the elegant Garden Room for the arrival of Laurie. The registrar conducted a lovely ceremony for Laurie and Matt which was made most memorable with their little boy being involved in signing of the register 🙂
The Fairlawns offers beautiful extensive gardens and terrace. This made an ideal location for Laurie and Matt to enjoy a drinks reception with their guests
Meanwhile the hotel staff had efficiently set up the Garden Room to welcome Laurie and Matt and their guests to enjoy their wedding breakfast.
I could see the beautiful evening light appearing. This was an opportunity not to be missed so Laurie, Matt and I ventured back outside to capture their dramatic evening shots. It was then time to let Laurie and Matt enjoy their evening with all their guests.
