I was delighted to be back for a Packington Moor wedding to be Sophie & Dan’s wedding photographer. It is a stunning wedding venue very close to home set in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside between Lichfield and Tamworth.
The venue has a virtually endless range of photo opportunities & certainly not to be ignored are the big skyscapes I so love for dramatic portraits.
Sophie & the girls were getting ready in the charming Walter’s Cottage, a lovely light & airy honeymoon suite whilst outside friends & relatives were gathering for the day ahead. All was calm in the cottage although there is no doubt emotions were running high as Sophie’s dad got his first glimpse of Sophie in her wedding dress 🙂
We were soon heading across the courtyards & into the Oat Barn for a delightful ceremony thoroughly enjoyed by a full house of guests.
The warm courtyard then beckoned for the drinks reception before we headed into the farmhouse gardens for family photos stopping off for one of my favourite moments, Confetti!!
Sophie, Dan & I then headed out for a photographic tour of the estate to get them a lovely selection of portraits before heading back to join the guests for the rest of the days celebrations starting with the wedding breakfast & speeches in the Malt Barn.
As evening approached we headed out into the cooler air for one of my signature portrait shots under a lovely early evening sky before heading back in for Sophie & Dan to kick of the evenings partying with their first dance!
