Karen & Mark had a Moxhull Hall wedding which was a very personal one for me. I’ve known Karen since she was knee high to a grasshopper, she had been one of my wife’s bridesmaids at our wedding & her dad Alan was my best man. Over the years I’d spent many hours at Karen’s family home & so turning up there for prep was almost like going home! It was certainly a busy house as well with everybody busy getting ready for the day ahead, which I suppose if you count washing the Land Rover Alan was as well 🙂
A quick dash through the Warwickshire countryside took me to the charming St Peter & St Pauls church in the centre of Coleshill to meet up with Mark & a busload of guests. Before long the bridesmaids arrived in their luxuriously appointed ex army Land Rover! I am happy to report that Karen arrived far more stylishly before we headed in for a lovely ceremony thoroughly enjoyed by all the guests.
Exiting church we were greated by a howling gale & so after grabbing a few shots we headed to the stunning Moxhull Hall for the rest of the days celebrations. The weather wasn’t our friend & a downpour meant that the group photos took place in the lovely dining room. No real hardship there then.
A break in the weather meant we got a few shots outside before heading to the marquee for a great wedding breakfast & highly entertaining speeches. It was certainly the first time I’d seen an axe at a wedding!!!
With evening setting in it was time to party the night away!
